Preparation for your appointment

Once your appointment is booked you will receive a confirmation email with a link to an "initial consult" form.  Please ensure you fill this form in by the day prior to your appointment.

If it is your first time receiving acupuncture then don't worry, the details of what to expect will be explained thoroughly during your initial consult.  If at any time you have any questions your therapist will be only too happy to assist.

Things that will make your experience easier

  • please eat a light meal prior to your appointment

  • baggy clothing will make accessing varying areas of your body easier without you having to undress

  • some areas may require you to remove some items of clothing, your therapist will exit the room while you do so

  • advise your therapist if you have had any medication changes since you last saw them

Whatever is discussed with your therapist is completely confidential and will not be discussed with anyone other than yourself without express permission from you.
